On Thursday, March 14th 2024, we will be celebrating Social Prescribing Day. This is a day to raise awareness of what social prescribing is, how it works, and how it changes lives.
Social Prescribing Day is an annual celebration of the people, organisations and communities who make social prescribing happen. Social Prescribing Link Workers, Local and National Organisations, Medical Professionals, Community Support Workers, Academics and Students come together to promote, hold events, share ideas and highlight the positive impact social prescribing can have on individuals and communities.
